5 signs that I need a break from SEO
At the moment, I want a vacation. But then again I live in Hawaii, so technically I’m already part way there. Here’s the 5 signs that I have encountered that tell me it might be time to take a break.
5. I have Google Analytics fired up before I even start my first cup of coffee in the morning. That has got to be against the law somewhere in the world.
4. I talked about Danny Sullivan having ninja rabbits this week.
3.  I stayed awake in bed last night for an hour and a half visualizing title tag tweaks. Seriously. I could have had Lucy Liu there instead, but I chose title tags.
2.  I have an mp3 playlist named “white hat” that I listen to when I’m link building and promoting. Yes, i have a linkbuilding soundtrack.
1. I took my son to the park the other day and heard a Mom tell her kids to get out of the sandbox. I wanted to offer my help to get them out for a monthly fee.
Any suggestions for activities to clear out my mind of SEO clutter?

You know you need a break from SEO when you’re searching for old school friends on facebook… so you can ask them for a digg.

I cheat with Google Analytics — I have the Analytics gadget on my Google homepage, so I can keep an eye on things without having to go all the way into the program.
Sign number 6.. you start writing notes as if they were Google queries, leaving out articles, pronouns, and other non-essential words.
