My my, how the time has zipped by since my wife told me we were expecting again! Without further delay, I proudly introduce to you my baby daughter Aiko Elaine Webb. Aiko is Japanese for “love” (also her Grandmothers first name) and Elaine is my Mothers middle name.
Things were going smoothly at the hospital until they told us that my wife would need an emergency C section…

Shortly after I got done screwin around with the camera and being a nervous wreck, I went in to the operating room. First time I watched a surgery. I’ve officially decided it will be the last time too. After the doctors and nurses worked at breakneck speed (must have been fresh donuts in the cafeteria or something…), Aiko joined the world at 12:10 AM last Wednesday.
7lbs 4oz - 19.5 inches long. Likes to scream.
After all the craziness was over with for the night, I was able to get a good peak at her and her first uninterrupted nap the following morning.
I don't blame her for passing out. I wanted to as well.
A few days have passed and she’s done just fine fitting in here at the house. I overheard my neighbors asking who wanted a beer and I was able to snap this shot…
She wanted a beer. Not a domestic one either. That a girl...
Just kidding… but it’s nice to have her home and my wife is more than relieved to be done with the pregnancy. Now then if you don’t mind, I gotta go burp somebody and hope they don’t barf on me again :).
